Udacity Hiring Partner Previews

Udacity is passionate about offering new, meaningful ways to connect. This is why we’re excited to introduce Udacity Hiring Partner Previews—coming to our students and graduates in the last week of September and the first week of October 2018.

Our Hiring Partners are keen to recruit Udacity students and graduates, and are especially interested in the chance to meet them in-person. Our Hiring Partner Previews are a chance to do just that! If you’re invited, you’ll get to mingle with company leaders, recruiters, and engineers, and you’ll experience life as a team member at some of the world’s most innovative companies.

Where: Hiring Partner offices in specific locations

Who: All Udacity students and graduates who are local to a participating partner

FAQ

Q: After I submit a request, what are the next steps?
A: All submissions will be carefully reviewed by the Hiring Partner, and they will make a determination based on your Nanodegree program, and the skills listed on your Udacity profile.

Q: How do I improve my chances of receiving an invitation?
A: Hiring Partners are seeking specific skills and experience, and will be reviewing your Udacity profile and resume to determine if you would be a good fit. Make sure your Udacity profile is up to date, completely filled out, and include a link to your resume.

Q: What if there is a Hiring Partner I want to meet with, but they are not looking for my background and experience?
A: Hiring Partners are looking to meet with strong candidates for the roles that are listed. However, those roles only represent a fraction of the roles that company is hiring for. We recommend visiting their jobs board and applying directly for other roles that better reflect the type of opportunity you are most interested in.

Q: Will I be contacted if I am not selected to receive an invitation?
A: Yes, all applicants will receive notification of their invitation status prior to the Hiring Partner Preview date, and will be provided with additional resources if not selected.

Q: If I am not selected, is there still a way that I can participate?
A: Not at this time. However, we will be sending you resources that will help you improve your chances during upcoming recruitment opportunities.

Q: There are no Hiring Partners in my area, can I attend remotely?
A: No, there is no remote option.

Q: If invited, may I bring a guest?
A: These opportunities are only available to individuals who have applied for, and received, invitations. If you know a Udacity student you think would benefit, encourage them to apply!
