Course 2 • 2 hours
This course introduces the field of digital project management, relevant career paths, and what those paths entail. It also covers the basic structure on which digital projects are formed.

This lesson introduces the course instructor and goes into when and why you would apply the concepts of digital project management.
Lesson 2
This lesson covers relevant career paths that are a part of or run parallel to digital project management. It introduces core skills and related advanced certification.
Lesson 3
This lesson defines digital project management and the key stages that go into a project's lifecycle. It also covers business justifications for a digital project.
Course 3 • 4 weeks
This course dives deeper into the five stages of the digital project management lifecycle. Each lesson focuses on one stage, introducing basic decisions and documents a digital project manager typically makes in order to build a solid project.
Lesson 1
This lesson provides more context to how digital project management came to be and some of the tools you will practice using in this course.
Lesson 2
This lesson introduces two common methodologies - Waterfall and Agile - and some related frameworks on which digital projects are typically based.
Lesson 3
This lesson covers the first of five key stages in the digital project management lifecycle - Initiation. It involves setting a project scope and identifying key participants in the digital project.
Lesson 4
This lesson covers the second of five key stages in the digital project management lifecycle - Planning. It involves analyzing if a project is worth investing in and then creating a project plan.
Lesson 5
This lesson covers the third of five key stages in the digital project management lifecycle - Execution. It involves analyzing risks and engaging stakeholders with effective communication.
Lesson 6
This lesson covers the fourth of five key stages in the digital project management lifecycle - Monitor and Control. It involves creating target goals and measuring a project's performance.
Lesson 7
This lesson covers the last of five key stages in the digital project management lifecycle: Closure. It involves ensuring a project met its requirements and knowledge is shared with the right people.
Lesson 8 • Project
The project takes you through the project management lifecycle in a structured way. You will act as a project manager and help a small family business undergo digital transformation.
