About the Udacity & AWS Machine Learning Engineer Scholarship
Udacity will host a community through Discourse, with four tutors to provide students with guidance, answer questions, and provide technical support. Additionally, we’re excited to share that Udacity will be including badge incentives within the program for learners to share their accomplishments with their connections on social media.
In an effort to provide additional support, AWS is collaborating with professional organizations that are leading initiatives to increase the diversity and talent in technical roles, including organizations like Girls In Tech and the National Society of Black Engineers. Learners should stay tuned for announcements on future engagement opportunities outside of the classroom!
Once the Machine Learning Foundations course is completed, learners will take an assessment test from Udacity. Then, the top 325 participants will be selected for the Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree Program scholarship.
To apply, learners must enroll in the free Machine Learning Foundations course. All applications must be submitted between June 21 and July 21, 2022. All applicants will get immediate classroom access to the course — just apply and you are in!
Learners will have up to 5 months to complete the Machine Learning Foundations course where they will study the fundamental aspects of machine learning, machine learning techniques & algorithms, programming best practices, python coding, AWS AI Services & Devices, and Amazon SageMaker. Working on these skills will provide students the confidence to develop their machine learning skill set.
