Course Details
The free Microsoft Power Platform course will prepare you to solve complex business problems without having to write any code. Through hands-on projects and lectures crafted in conjunction with the Microsoft Power Platform team, you will learn how to build fully functional Android and iOS apps with Power Apps, automate repetitive tasks with Power Automate, and even harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) using Azure AI Builder. All of this (and more) can be accomplished in as little as one month.
Specific Lessons Include:
Lesson 1: Creating your First App with Power Apps
In this lesson, you will learn about Power Apps, which is the app development tool in the Microsoft Power Platform. By the end of this lesson you’ll be able to build your own template-based apps. Walk away with a solid understanding of what Power Apps is and how it can be used.
Lesson 2: App Development
For the second lesson, you will build your own customized inventory tracking app from scratch. You will design a simple user interface, create a functional page one, and then hook up your app to a datastore, creating a fully functional app.
Lesson 3: Using Power Automate
In lesson three, you will learn about Power Automate and Flows in order to learn how to automate repetitive tasks. First, you will use triggers to begin the flow process, then you will use data connects to fully automate the task.
Lesson 4: AI Builder
For the final lesson, you will use Azure AI Builder to enhance the functionality of any app. By the end of this lesson, you will create a business card scanner and receipt scanner with the AI Builder Forms Processor, and understand how to create your own AI model.
