This exam offers aspiring Android developers a unique opportunity to prove Android Development skills, and earn certification directly from Google affirming those skills—a definitive step on the path to a job as an Android Developer.
As a complement to that Certification, we just introduced the Associate Android Developer Fast Track, your complete path to Google certification. This program is a model of efficiency, designed to teach you exactly what you need to know to successfully pass the exam and earn your certification from Google. It’s $750 for three months of access, and the program includes three courses, three projects and the Google certification fee.

What happens after I’ve earned the certification?
Your Associate Android Developer Certification will stand as meaningful proof that you’ve demonstrated the skills to get started as an Android Developer—meaning, you’ll be “officially” equipped to pursue an entry-level Android Developer role.

A Nanodegree credential remains the most comprehensive, advanced credential you can earn, and when combined with the career support and resources you’ll receive, it’s the most effective way to build a great long-term career in Android Development.
The Associate Android Developer Fast Track focuses on very specific skills, which are calibrated to align with an entry-level Android Developer role. The certification itself is confirmation that you’ve mastered those skills. Because the certification comes from Google, it serves to differentiate you from other aspiring developers pursuing similar goals, who have not earned the distinction of being Google-certified.
