Udacity & Bertelsmann Tech Scholarships I Apply Today

Udacity is excited to announce that we are launching the third round of 1,600
scholarships in cloud computing, data science, and artificial intelligence with
Bertelsmann. This year’s scholarship will feature three new Nanodegree options, Azure
Cloud Architect, Business Analytics, and Introduction to Machine Learning with
TensorFlow.

The scholarship program is part of a three-year commitment by Bertelsmann to fund
50,000 tech scholarships for students to learn with Udacity.

About the Bertelsmann Technology Scholarship

With today’s changing landscape, the demand for skilled professionals in cloud
technology, business analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is multiplying
across disciplines and industries. The goal of the Bertelsmann Technology Scholarship
Program is to empower individuals with the skill sets to jumpstart their careers in our
increasingly digital world.

Our first scholarship phase ended successfully in September 2020 with graduates now
ready to apply their new skills. Currently, our third phase is starting with another two-
stage scholarship.

“The world of work is becoming increasingly digital, with digital skills becoming more
and more important in every industry. Bertelsmann’s media, services, and educational
offerings make us a leader in many areas of the digital world; we deal intensively with
the opportunities opened up by new technologies. Accordingly, we see it as our
responsibility to empower as many people as possible to be successful in the digital
world, and to support policymakers in this. This is why we are launching, together with
Udacity, a global corporate-training initiative in the fields of Cloud, Data, and Artificial
Intelligence.”

THOMAS RABE, BERTELSMANN CHAIRMAN & CEO

Applicants can apply for one of three tech learning paths — Cloud, Data, or AI — then
15,000 recipients will be selected to participate in one of the following two-month-long
challenge courses.

The top 1,600 students from the initial challenge courses will earn a full Nanodegree
program scholarship in their chosen track. Upon graduation, graduates will have
acquired in-demand data, AI, or cloud computing skills to launch or advance their
careers in our tech-driven economy.
