Read on to learn more about your options and choose the path that works best for you.
We’re excited to be able to offer the first fully accredited massive online MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. Total tuition for the program is initially expected to be below $7,000.
GT applications for Fall 2014 open
March 3-May 11 2014
Each of the Georgia Tech courses offered in the Master’s degree program will also be offered directly through Udacity. If the full degree isn’t for you, or you’d like to test out a class or two, enroll in the classes you’re most interested in directly through Udacity. In our full course experience you’ll have the flexibility to work at your own pace, access to personal coaches, projects with ongoing feedback, and a Udacity Verified Certificate upon successful completion of the course.
New courses from this program will be released on Udacity periodically. Sign up for updates on the degree program or individual courses.
Individual courses are ideal for students who are unable to take the full degree program for credit, and who want certification of their achievement on a tailored course-by-course basis. Course certificates will be offered at a much lower cost than the full $6,600 OMS CS degree, and do not require students to go through an admissions process.
No, all OMS CS courses will be open to the public as soon as they are available on the Udacity website. The OMS CS degree program, however, does require admission through Georgia Tech as covered in the Admissions section below.
Admission into the OMS CS program will require a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from an accredited institution, or a related Bachelor of Science degree with a possible need to take and pass remedial courses. Georgia Tech will handle the degree admissions process. For more information please visit the Georgia Tech program page.
The OMS CS will deliver educational content completely through the massive online format. This means it will differ from the residential MS CS in some aspects such as structure of delivery and student assessment. The experience will be equal in rigor to the on-campus format.
