You will also have an opportunity to build more data-driven marketing insights about your customers and digital presence using Google Analytics and reimagine the future of your marketing capabilities by exploring newly emerging marketing technologies, what they can offer, and how you can adapt to the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing.

With our new update, we’ve taken all of the sage wisdom and learnings from the original Nanodegree and updated it with brand new projects designed to utilize the latest and most cutting-edge digital marketing tools. 

Students will build their digital marketing portfolios through hands-on projects, enabling them to emerge from the program with valuable experience and verifiable evidence of their skills.

The other main additions to the Digital Marketing Nanodegree program include great learnings with more applicable projects, optional courses, and newly emerging topics . These changes help create a customizable version of digital marketing education that caters to your specific interests. We have added more coverage of newer Social Media platforms, video marketing, and marketing automation/technology in the new version.

Summarize the business model of your own company, articulate the marketing objective, and develop a target persona for the product you choose to market. 

Project 2: Draw Insights from Marketing Data

Using Google Analytics, you will generate a summary report that describes key insights about a fictitious company’s audience, their behaviors, and conversions from existing marketing efforts.

Depending on which elective(s) you decide to enroll in, you could also participate in the following projects:

Project 3: Marketing Your Social Media Content

 ​Build a real social media campaign strategy for a skincare brand. The strategy will contain both organic and paid campaigns.

Project 4: Conduct an SEO Audit

Evaluate a website audit and recommend actions to optimize its ranking in search engine results.

Project 5: Evaluate a Search Engine Marketing Campaign (Google Ads)

 Build and evaluate the performance of a Google Ads search campaign.

Project 6: Plan a Multi-Channel Digital Ad Campaign

In this project, you will develop a plan to effectively run a multichannel shopping campaign, featuring display, shopping and YouTube video ads. 

Project 7: Market with Email

Plan and prepare an email marketing campaign for a Sandbox product. Write an email and evaluate the results of an email campaign.
