FPT Software initiated a strategic Upskilling program in collaboration with Udacity to enhance the business acumen of its DX practitioners. Udacity's sophisticated platform, distinguished by its high-tech infrastructure and personalized mentorship network, stood out for its rich content and practical orientation. The enterprise offering was meticulously customized to align with the specific requirements of FPT Software, emphasizing the application of technology skills in real-world scenarios rather than mere content dissemination. In close collaboration with Udacity's talent transformation consultants, FPT Software and Udacity formulated a multi-step framework:
1. Nanodegree program: A project-based learning designed to equip individuals with job-ready skills in various technology fields such as, data science, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
2. Skill Application: A core objective of Udacity’s content is skill application. Practical, hands-on learning exercises are taught by real-world industry professionals and thus FPT Software employees take their newly acquired technical knowledge and apply it to their daily jobs.
3. Classroom Experience: The Udacity classroom is designed to be user-friendly and interactive, allowing students to track their progress, interact with instructors and mentors, collaborate with peers, and submit assignments. It provides a structured environment for effective learning and skill development.
4. Mentorship: Udacity provided dedicated mentors who offered guidance and support through structured live sessions and detailed project feedback, ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience for all participants.
