This lesson teaches how to target buyers in order to achieve the monetization goals 1. Identify product differentiation 2. Narrow the market 3. Nail a buyer persona 4. Figure out channels to approach them

Path to Purchase

We'll study basic concepts related to prospective buyers’ path to purchase, how to leverage buyer psychology tactics and friction, and use our first monetization scorecard - an Acquisition Model.

We will discuss what premium value is, and its importance. We will then look at methods for discovering premium value and then how to amplify it. Finally, we will review the Unit economics model.

We will learn about pricing metrics and pricing plans, and study in detail the last 3 scorecards for evaluating a monetization strategy.

In this project, students will evaluate the monetization performance of a B2B SaaS business, identify growth opportunities, and explore new models to improve performance.
