About the Next Generation Tech Booster
If you’re 18 years or older, have English comprehension, and are looking to develop job-ready skills in Generative AI, Cybersecurity, and Digital Marketing, this scholarship program is for you.

The tech industry offers some of the fastest-growing and most in-demand employment opportunities today. But these opportunities have been unequal and exclusionary—particularly to people living in certain global regions and communities.
Bertelsmann and Udacity are teaming up to create change. This scholarship program aims to give learners around the world the opportunity to develop lucrative digital skills regardless of cultural background or social status. How does it work?
Step 2
Challenge Course
17,000 applicants accepted into the program will enroll in a challenge course for their selected track, where they will learn the foundational elements of their chosen topic. The Generative AI and Ethical Hacker tracks have technical assessments on which applicants will be tested in order to qualify. The Digital Marketing track has no technical assessment prior to the Challenge Course.
Step 3
Scholarship Recipients Announced

Courses are part-time and online so you can learn when and where it’s convenient for you.

Our flexible schedule means you can put in a few hours in the challenge phase, and 8-10 hours in the Nanodegree phase per week.

Students can access dozens of hours of free training modules and tutorials on generative AI, cybersecurity, or digital marketing, and their real-world applications.

The scholarship is available to learners 18 years or older with English comprehension worldwide.

Mentor-supported
All students can leverage guidance from experts and curriculum developers through monthly ask me anything (AMAs). Participants can access 1:1 mentoring from these advisors.

Embark on a transformative journey into Generative AI! We'll start by diving into the essentials with an introductory course, progress to mastering text generation with Large Language Models, unravel the complexities of image creation in computer vision and cap it off by bringing AI to life in real-world applications.
