About the Speakers

  • David Silver
    David Silver

    Head of the School of Autonomous Systems

    David helped build Udacity's Self-Driving Car Engineer and Intro to Self-Driving Cars Nanodegree programs. Before Udacity, David was a research engineer on the autonomous vehicle team at Ford. He has an MBA from Stanford, and a BSE in computer science from Princeton.

  • Vienna Harvey
    Vienna Harvey

    Content Developer

    Vienna is a Content Developer in the School of Autonomous Systems. She is currently developing new self-driving car content for the School and manages Udacity’s self-driving car, Carla. She received her BA in Science, Technology, and Society from Stanford, where she wrote her Honors thesis on the role of ethics in the design and regulation of self-driving cars.
