This Nanodegree is designed for intermediate students who have at least 3 months of object oriented programming experience under their belts. In this course you learn how to create and edit iOS apps using Swift coding language in the XCode platform. Far more in-depth than your average iOS app development tutorial, this Udacity course shows you how to create user interfaces using Storyboard, then check your programming with an iOS simulator and download your apps directly to a device for further testing.
Conquer the basics of XCode-based coding and then move on to the more complex task of networking. When you understand how to connect your iOS app to a network, your program is better able to interact with an almost infinite amount of data, such as location pins, weather sources, local photos, reviews, and much more. Build your own iOS developer portfolio by creating a networked app and several others that showcase your skills as a mobile developer.
Study 8 hrs/week and complete in 6-8 mo.
