This Nanodegree teaches you the skills you need to become an iOS developer and create mobile apps for Apple. This course is ideal for students with at least three months' worth of object oriented programming experience or students who have recently completed the Beginning iOS Nanodegree. In this course, you can take your basic coding knowledge and build upon it to start creating complex iOS mobile apps for yourself and future employers that build apps that are compatible with Apple software and operating systems.
XCode is the integrated development environment used by Apple. The Xcode platform contains several software development tools that were created by Apple to help iOS, macOS, and other platform developers create high-quality, attractive, user-friendly software. Using this platform, you learn the Swift programming language and create a set of iOS apps that let you develop your coding skills and set up a more impressive iOS developer portfolio.
