A data analyst practices the art and skill of data science. Our Data Analyst Nanodegree program teaches you how to collect a data set using different tools, and then organize, analyze, and report on the data set. As you work your way through the Nanodegree program, you develop the skills you need to succeed on the job. You also build a portfolio of work that lets employers see your skills at a glance.
Just what is a data analyst? As a data analyst, you commonly clean up messy raw data and then create business analytics reports that provide important information to decision-makers. Our Nanodegree program is ideally suited to students who have Python programming experience. If you are new to programming, or just want a refresher before you begin our analytics training, the first four lessons of our Intro to Computer Science course cover programming in Python, so you can quickly be ready to jump into your data analysis lessons.
