Build your own websites from scratch and program custom apps and games. In our Intro to Programming Nanodegree, you learn computer basics such as the basic framework of the internet and how it accesses and displays web pages. Through hands-on projects, you create websites using the HTML and CSS languages and learn how to use Object Oriented Programming to modify existing code. You also gain a fundamental grasp of the Python programming language and use it to design your own games and apps.
Our Intro to Programming Nanodegree outlines the various roles involved in app, web, and game development. Learn the computer programming skills that frond-end developers, back-end developers, mobile developers, and data analysts perform in projects and choose a path to further refine your skills and develop your career. As a final project, complete a specialized task based on the path of your choice, offering you the chance to expand your knowledge beyond basic computer skills and gain in-depth knowledge in that topic. In the Udacity Programming for Beginners track, you complete projects based on your own schedule, providing you with ample opportunity to review topics and study them in depth.
