Udacians all over the world gathered on Saturday, July 20th to celebrate the Udacity community and to learn more about getting ahead in (or getting into!) their careers in tech.
Thanks for an amazing day! We had a wonderful time meeting hundreds of Udacians in Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, and New York, as well as in cities all over the world.
We also learned a lot from our special tech guests. Thanks so much to the following companies and organizations for coming out:
SpaceX, Google, Etsy, Microsoft, Braintree, Redfin, CODE2040, OpenGov, Rocket Fuel, 23andMe, Rivieria Partners, Palo Alto Staffing, i-staffing-inc, Twilio, Crowdspring, Belly, Capital Group, QThru, Pactera, 9Mile Labs, Madrona Venture Group, Up Global, Hireart, Chartbeat, and more.
Joseph Yeh from Riviera Partners sums up his day at Udacitys’ Global Meetup by saying, “The students of Udacity have a genuine interest in technical growth, building their professional skills, and are proud of their Udacity achievements! From this meetup, we had interns, professionals, and alumni from Google, Facebook, Linkedin, Palantir, and local VCs get together, to share their insights and experiences about mentorship, networking, and future business opportunities.”
We had a great time meeting everyone and look forward to staying in touch!
