You never know when your guardian angel will show up. But more often than not, they show up at the right place at the right time. Amaury Gonzalez — a Udacity student hoping to break into digital marketing — encountered his while driving his Uber.
Amaury had been driving Uber, when one of his passengers turned out to be his future boss. He had often received the “great conversation” badge from his passengers, but little did he know that one of those conversations could get him a job as a SEO specialist at BOLD.
“From a glance he did not look like the Director of the SEO Department at BOLD when he hopped in the cab,” said Amaury. “He was dressed casually and I immediately started a conversation with him. He mentioned a new job vacancy at BOLD and I told him that I had experience with SEO in the past and that I was taking a Udacity Nanodegree program.
“We exchanged numbers and he told me to send my resume to him.”
