Udacity Lunch with Peter Norvig

The time period between November 30th and December 14th, 2016 has been—and continues to be—an incredibly exciting time for Udacity, and for all aspiring Artificial Intelligence Engineers. By the time this period comes to a close, hundreds of students will have committed to our Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree program, establishing themselves as the next generation of AI talent. With program start dates ranging from January to April of 2017, we can say with confidence that come the end of next year, we’ll be looking back on some incredible accomplishments from these dedicated learners.

If your registration in our Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree program is complete by December 14th, then we’ve got some additionally exciting news for you: you’re eligible to win lunch with Peter Norvig! Peter is the Director of Research at Google, a course instructor for the Udacity Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree program, and an author of “Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach,” the de facto standard text on AI.

Peter Norvig and Udacity go back a long way together—you might say, to the very beginning. After all, it was Peter and Sebastian’s online AI course that first sowed the seeds of what has now flowered into the Udacity of today. This history together is but one of many reasons why we’re excited anytime we can connect with Peter on something special. And this is definitely something special!

Udacity is offering a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a private “meet and eat” (i.e. lunch!) with Peter Norvig, and it’s sure to be a memorable experience—this is your chance to sit down and chat face-to-face with one of the most influential voices in this extraordinary field.

While our goal with the AI Nanodegree program has always been to provide the richest, most engaging learning experience possible, even we’re a little giddy about this!

To be automatically entered, you just need to make sure your Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree program registration is/was completed no later than December 14th, 2016 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. If you’ve completed it already, then welcome to the program, congratulations on your enrollment, and good luck winning the Peter Norvig lunch!
